Unity Charter School

In 1998, ULE founded Unity Charter School (UCS) in Morristown, New Jersey - as the first, and still, only charter school in Morris County.  UCS was designed as a model learning environment to nurture students and help them to become lifelong learners and ambassadors of the earth. The award winning school, now celebrating ten years of success, was conceived well before the current wave of interest in sustainability.  UCS has provided valuable learning - not only to its students, but to others in the area who have integrated some of its time-tested qualities into their own schools.

Unity - 10 Years

ULE continues to proudly support the ongoing content development and assessment tools of the sustainability-based curriculum at the school. ULE is also championing the UCS school-wide 10th Anniversary Campaign to further enhance the educational experience of its students and staff - as well as raise funds to assist in “greening” the school's current facilities.
